Just tell me a little bit of what food blogging means to you.
Ans: Food blogging according to me, means more than sharing recipes. It is a platform where we connect with people who have the same love for food. It is a form of sharing our love.

What inspired you to start the blog?
Ans: I joined a group called UBF on Facebook where people were discussing a technique called OPOS(one pot one shot). What I realized, it was not a mere pressure cooker cooking but a scientific approach of cooking food and when I started trying that technique, I felt I should share my experience with the world and hence I started my blog.
When did you realize this was going to become more than just a hobby?
Ans: After I started posting recipes, people started trying them out and validating them. Many waited for me to post more recipes. That’s when I realized, it’s not just a hobby and something more.
Why do you think food blogging has become so popular now?
Ans: Lot of them have become independent and open-minded and they feel cooking is a great life skill which is needed to survive in life. People are ready to start and these various blogs help people in learning whichever cuisine they want to learn and hence blogs have become popular.
What is the most time-consuming part for you as a food blogger?
Ans: Taking pictures of different angles of the food item and finally arriving at a single good image to be posted on the blog.
Could you give some advice for bloggers who are starting out?
Ans: Be confident make sure the content is well tested before you post it! Good Quality content is more preferable than just fancy presentation. Have a USP which would help your blog stand out among thousands of bloggers. Be passionate and love what you do! That will reflect in your blog.
What is the most important thing you should be doing as a food blogger?
Ans: Keep exploring new food items, latest trends, healthy options.
How much technical know how do you think someone needs to have if they want to become a food blogger?
Ans: When you are starting it’s enough if you know how to arrange things on the blog so it ends up user-friendly.
What according to you is the best way to increase traffic to your food blog?
Ans: Make sure there is a USP for your blog. Keep sharing it on social media. That’s the best way.
How often did you post when you started off as opposed to now?
Ans: I used to post once a month initially now, there is no particular protocol. I post as and when I make interesting recipes.
How soon were you able to make your first 100 dollars?
Ans: I haven’t made that yet!
What is your preferred source of monetization for your blog?
Ans: I haven’t monetized my blog as yet
Do you think there is a right time to start monetizing a food blog?
Ans: When you feel you are getting a good traffic, you can start thinking about monetization
Which is your favorite social network, if any?
Ans: Facebook and Instagram

Ans: Be passionate about food and sharing your love and passion for it. It’s not just a way of money making! It is something more!
